Delivering the service you need

In a competitive market, working with a supplier who can keep up with demand and the changing construction landscape is more important than ever. In fact, given the new Building Safety Act, working with a competent fire safety glass manufacturer is imperative to ensure you are delivering the levels of performance, documentation and traceability required.

So, how does Pyroguard’s service offering stack up?

Keeping up with demand

We’ve been manufacturing our range of trusted fire safety glass solutions for over 40 years, with three European production sites in Haydock, UK and Seingbouse, France.

2024 saw us expand our in-house capabilities with a new IGU (insulated glazing unit) production line at Seingbouse, in direct response to increasing market demand for double and triple-glazed units, especially from the steel and aluminium façade sectors. As part of the works, we also made improvements to the IGU production facilities at our UK site, arming us with larger scope and capacity.

All of this means we can now produce a wider range of IGU configurations entirely in-house, delivering greater production efficiencies, faster lead-times and enhanced product quality.

Trusted and certified

Within the fire safety industry, testing and certification is everything. With every project and application having differing sets of requirements, it’s essential to work with a manufacturer that possesses a comprehensive bank of test evidence – specifying and installing only trusted solutions, backed up with robust and traceable certification.

At Pyroguard, we pride ourselves on our extensive bank of test evidence, which includes a variety of systems, pane sizes and framing materials. We are also constantly looking to expand and add to this, partnering with system manufacturers and testing new system capabilities, continually expanding the scope of our glass.

Keeping up with market trends

It’s an exciting time to work within the built environment, with interior design and architectural trends in a constant state of evolution. In order for architects and clients to deliver on these design briefs, it’s essential that the supply chain is also aware of arising market trends, adapting and expanding their product offerings to suit.

A great example of this in action is our work with Schüco. Following an extensive test programme, we were able to expand our range of solutions for aluminium doors, partitions and façades. With Schüco a major name in aluminium framing, and striking façade systems increasing in popularity, it was a great way to provide our customers with more options that combine aesthetics with safety.

‘On the ground’ support

Customer service isn’t just a department in Pyroguard, it’s an approach and a mindset that is at the heart of everything we do. We don’t only supply proven fire safety glass solutions – we also provide industry-leading customer service. In any manufacturing industry, but perhaps especially so for the fire safety sector, it’s about far more than just the end-product; it’s about it being backed up by expert and reliable support throughout the customer journey.

Thanks to our global presence, we can offer dedicated, localised support on the ground, while our customer care teams are just a quick phone call or email away. It’s through this commitment that we can continually provide fire safety glazing solutions that meet your project requirements right from an early design stage. If needed, we can be by your side throughout a project, from the initial specification (including bespoke testing, if required), through to production, logistics and after-care.
